Typical

Had really cool, pleasant weather all weekend...while I was working. Now that I'm not busy 14 hours a day and sleeping the rest a front is moving through and it's way too disgusting to be outside.

Oh well, I need to study anyway.

Workin' for a Livin'

Went to work today for the usual 7p-7a shift. Had my nice, peaceful, hour-long drive, got in a few minutes early, checked some emails, and then headed down to my station to find...the other night guy there.

"What are you doing here?" we both asked.

A quick check of the schedule later and I realize I'm off tonight. Big plus: 12 extra hours of free time. Big minus: 2 hour drive for no good reason.

All in all, I'll take it.

I'm Getting Old

Lately I've found that I'd rather listen to Bill Bryson audiobooks than rock music during my work commutes. Yeah, I'm getting old.
