Karate Kid: The Remake
Rumor has it that Will Smith is remaking The Karate Kid, with his son as Daniel-san and Jackie Chan as Mr. Miyagi.
I have a lot of respect for Smith's work, especially the more recent stuff, but really? Is this necessary? What does he expect to add to the piece by remaking it?
We shall see.

Oh, c'mon. "The Next Karate Kid" makes a great double feature with "Million Dollar Baby".
