This Is Pretty Tasty
Ham and Cheese and Other Stuff
1 pound ham (diced)
1/2 lb sharp cheddar (diced)
1 (4 oz) can mushrooms
2 (6 oz) cans cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 oz) can peas
1 (1 lb) pasta of choice (we used gemelli)
1 large can french-fried onions
pepper
Cook pasta according to box directions. Combine ham, cheddar, mushrooms (undrained), soup, peas (undrained), and cooked pasta in ungreased casserole dish. Pepper to taste. DO NOT add More Cow Bell seasoning if The Wife is planning on having any (trust me). Cook at 350F for 10 mins. Top with onions. Bake at 350F for another 5 mins or until onions are toasted. DO NOT broil until onions catch fire.
Goes very nicely with a Faustino 1995 Tinto Riserva (but what doesn't?).
