Bahston

I'm going to Beantown tomorrow for a conference. Four glorious days of lectures, meetings, and overpriced drinks in the hotel bar. So this week's Discussion Question comes a little early:

What US city would you most like to visit, and why?

Getting back to reality, there's no town that I've "always wanted to see."
I would like to travel up through the north east in order to see some revolutionary war stuff, and then there's Gettysburg, but nothing jumps out at me.
There are certain things I'd like to see, but not just a city. Maybe thirty years ago when place were more distinct, but not after homogenization of America.
Hey! Your Old Navy/Borders/Home Depot is just like ours!

If I had to pick one, I'd probably say New York City. It's kind of the big time, and it's just about the only major American city I haven't been to.
