Decapus
I've decided I'm not going to call them "squid" anymore. If an 8-armed critter is an octopus, a 10-armed critter is a "decapus". I tell you, it's going to be a thing.
Or should I call them "decapods" instead?

A derrogatory term used by Marines to describe Navy Sailors.
Also used as a salty, tough, fried appetizer for yuppies.
