How Fast is Too Fast
I routinely drive faster than the speed limit. Not unsafely so, but usually about 10 mph faster than posted. And yet I have not gotten a speeding ticket in about 20 years. I did get pulled over about a decade ago, but the cop let me go when he found out I was with EMS.
Maybe I'm just lucky. Maybe I just manage to avoid speed traps. But I've seen cops on the side of the road that just let me go.
Today I passed a state trooper doing about 75 in a 60. I thought I was busted, but nothing...until I got about half a mile further down the road. Blue lights, moving cop car.
Whoops, right?
Not exactly. He pulled over the guy behind me. Who I'm pretty sure I was driving faster than.
Now, I drive a nondescript car, and this dude was in a late-model Charger with illegal window tint.
Interesting, huh?
